Crime Stoppers of Sarasota County is currently seeking candidates for its Board of Directors.

Crime Stoppers of Sarasota County is comprised of diverse, active and dedicated community volunteers. We provide a reliable method for local law enforcement to receive anonymous and timely crime information from citizens. This has proven to be an invaluable asset to law enforcement throughout our 25+ years. Crime Stoppers of Sarasota County serves the following Agencies:

Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office
Sarasota Police Department
Venice Police Department
North Port Police Department
Longboat Key Police Department
USF Police Department
Florida Highway Patrol
Sarasota /Manatee Airport Police Department

Crime Stoppers board meetings are held monthly and cover a variety of issues such as; annual budgets, fundraising activities, marketing efforts, rewards, and a monthly report on criminal activity from our law enforcement coordinator.To continue to grow as a vibrant, effective organization, Crime Stoppers of Sarasota County needs volunteers for fundraising, advocacy, and support.
